This is the real-time bond trading system at www.bondweb.com, which can be used from MS Internet Explorer. It is a neutral online database and trading platform for the mortgage-backed securities markets. Focused primarily on the secondary market, Bondweb provides a platform to all dealer participants. The Company offers these services in Agency passthroughs, agency and private label collateralized mortgage obligations (CMOs), agency adjustable rate mortgages and CMO floaters. Bondweb also helps the sellers by providing a host of additional "eyeballs" that they might not ordinarily reach. Bondweb’s ultimate aim is to provide a centralized pool of liquidity to a cumbersome sector of the fixed-income market. Browser applets are heavily restricted in capabilities, but this application works five times faster than a HTML based one.
